The categories Smudge and Incense in the shop have been joined into a new category named Smoke. The reason for this is that we prefer another name than Smudge for the category in the other two languages we use here at Heksebua, and we think it's better to find all similar items in one category. The name 'smudge' also has associations with the Native American culture, and we don't want to be accused of not providing the product the customer expected to get.

Might be removing C.O.D as an option

Due to another customer not picking up their package in time, and it being returned to us, we're considering removing C.O.D as an option for payment. When you don't pick up your item, we're stuck with the shipping cost, plus a fee to get it back from the Post Office. This time the total amount was NOK 411,00, which is about € 50, £ 45 or $ 71. Heksebua is a small business, and this is a lot of money to us. Please consider this when you buy C.O.D. and don't place an order unless you intend to pick it up!

To be fair, the customer in question has received a bill and agreed to pay it to get the item sent again.

Unclaimed goods are sold on Etsy

All unclaimed goods, and a couple of other items, will be sold on Etsy. The link to our Etsy is: http://www.etsy.com/shop/heksebua

Removal of inactive users

On the 1st of January 2011, users that have never logged in will be removed. If you want to prevent your user from being deleted, log in to Heksebua before January.

New Comment Component

We've changed comment component from !Joomlacomment to JComment, simply because Coompjoom doesn't provide it for free anymore. A new spam prevention method will be implemented soon, to deal with bots and spammers.

New products and information.

Some new products are on their way. We've gotten some new partners for carved items, so look out for those. I'm also planning some new products of my own.

I will also, as soon as I get some time to do so, be starting our Norse section. So you'll be seeing a lot of new information. Translations will be published as soon as I have the energy to do so. So please be patient.
